Over the Christmas and New Year period, East Hampshire District Council’s (EHDC) bin collections will change around the bank holidays.
Festive collection days will take place from December 27 until January 11, with the normal service resuming on January 13.
Recycling crews will take any excess recycling in a dry cardboard box or clear plastic bag. Glass crews will take any excess in a sturdy plastic box with handles, no larger than 38 litres and weighing less than 5.5kg.
The garden waste service will be suspended from December 23 and restart on January 6. If you have a real Christmas tree and you're using the service, EHDC will collect it on your first collection in the new year. Trees over 6ft tall should be cut into smaller pieces.
There will be no change to clinical waste collections over the festive period. For more information about the festive collections, visit https://tinyurl.com/EHDC-festive-bin-collections.
