POLICE are appealing for witnesses after a burglary at the Spire Church.
It was discovered on Tuesday (September 14) morning that the side door to the church on South Street in Farnham had been broken into, and £260 taken from the cafe till.
The door upstairs had also been smashed, and two cash tins were stolen.
The burglary occurred at some point between 8.30pm on Monday (September 13) and 8.40am on Tuesday.
The tins were later found in a red Debenhams bag in the grounds of St Andrews Church in Upper Church Lane, Farnham.
