A man has been arrested on suspicion of dangerous driving after a single-vehicle collision in Chiddingfold on Friday evening.
Police responded at around 10.45pm on February 16 to reports of a collision involving the driver of a black Ford Focus on the Petworth Road between the junctions for the Chiddingfold Golf Club and Gostrode Lane.
There were no reports of any injuries.
A 38-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of dangerous driving, failing to stop at the scene of a road traffic collision, and driving over the prescribed alcohol limit.
PC Dave Curran said: “We are looking to speak to the drivers of any vehicles that were in the area at the time who may have witnessed the collision, or the moments leading up to it. If you have any information or dash cam footage, please contact us.”
