Rushmoor Artistic Swimming Club enjoyed plenty of success at the Kent County Artistic Swimming Competition at the K2 Centre in Crawley.

The club entered 34 swimmers who took part in figure competitions, team events, solos and duets across a number of age groups and grades.

Overall, the competition was a huge success for the club, providing a really good experience for their newest team members who hadn’t entered a competition before.

The more experienced members showed the benefit of the good standard of coaching they receive, as the club won 15 medals.

In the 13 to 15 figures competition Cerys Snelling was first and Mariella Rice was second. Rosie Owen was second in the 15 to 18 figures competition.

Cerys Snelling was first in the 13 to 15 solo competition, and Francesca Rice was first in the 15 to 18 solo competition. Francesca Rice and Lana Darcey were first in the 15 to 18 duet competition. Louise Ross and Rachel Davies were first in the masters duet competition.

Artistic swimming is a good way to keep fit and meet and make new friends.

Rushmoor Artistic Swimming Club have more than 90 active swimmers but are always looking for new male and female members, aged six years and above.

Anyone who would like to discuss joining the club should contact head coach Emma Adams by emailing [email protected] or visit the website.
