The Grange Surgery celebrated the NHS’s 75th Anniversary by inviting patients for cake and a chat with its healthcare professionals.
Patients were also encouraged to have their blood pressure checked as part of Public Health England’s campaign to ‘know your numbers’. The response was overwhelming, with patients eagerly queuing to get their blood pressure measured.
Many individuals have high blood pressure without realising it. However, by regularly monitoring blood pressure, appropriate treatment and support can be provided to bring it under control.
The Grange happily reported that the day was a resounding success. The Grange received lots of happy birthday NHS cards, flowers and even a fabulous rendition of ‘happy birthday’ from one of its patients.
