Records tumbled in Haslemere on GCSE results day as Woolmer Hill achieved its best-ever results.
Students made a mockery of their predictions, getting at least one grade higher than expected as their hard work and determination reaped rewards.
“Congratulations go to our year 11 students this year, who have worked hard, done themselves proud, and produced our best ever set of results,” said the school.
Nearly 40 per cent of all GCSEs ended with a 9 to 7 grade while 83 per cent achieved both Maths and English at Level 4+ and 63 per cent getting the Level 5+ mark.
The percentage of students achieving five of more GCSE at Grade 4+ was also an impressive 78 per cent.
“We would also like to thank our staff for their hard work and dedication and also our parents for their support of the school and their children,” added the school.
