Drivers in and around East Hampshire will have nine National Highways road closures to watch out for this week.

And two of them are expected to cause delays of between 10 and 30 minutes.

The latest expected works list, with notes from National Highways, shows that two closures already in place are expected to carry on this week:

• A3, from 8pm February 4 to 6am February 5, slight delays (under 10 minutes): A3 southbound, Hazel Grove to Liphook, Lane closures for drainage work.

• A3, from 9pm October 23 2023 to 6am March 28 2024, slight delays (under 10 minutes): A3 both directions Hindhead Tunnel, Contraflow for electrical work.

And a further seven closures will begin over the next two weeks:

• A3, from 8pm February 5 to 6am February 6, moderate delays (10-30 minutes): A3 southbound, Queen Elizabeth Park, slip road and lane closures for drainage work.

• A3, from 8pm February 6 to 6am February 7, moderate delays (10-30 minutes): A3 southbound, Berelands, exit slip road and lane closure for electrical works.

• A3, from 9pm February 6 to 6am February 7, slight delays (under 10 minutes): A3M southbound, junction 2, slip road closure for barrier repairs.

• A3, from 8pm February 8 to 6am February 9, slight delays (under 10 minutes): A3 southbound, Longmoor, slip road and lane closures for barrier repairs.

• A3, from 8pm February 9 to 6am February 10, slight delays (under 10 minutes): A3 southbound, Liphook, Services and lane closures for carriageway sweeping.

• A3, from 8pm February 12 to 5am February 17, slight delays (under 10 minutes): A3 both directions Upper Ham to Rectory Lane, Lane closure for inspection works.

• A3, from 8pm February 13 to 6am February 14, slight delays (under 10 minutes): A3 both directions Hazel Grove to Milford, diversion route for Surrey County Council.

National Highways is responsible for maintaining motorways and major A-roads, so closures of smaller roads will not be included in their schedule.
