PETERSFIELD Town fans let their feet do the talking on Saturday by walking 20 miles to an away game in Portsmouth.
The Rams Ramble to Baffins Milton Rovers raised more than £600 for PTFC and the mayor’s charities.
Just under 20 people took part while the mayor himself, JC Crissey, kept his word to councillors by walking the full distance.
The group left Love Lane at 7am and were blessed with sunshine for the seven-hour trek, with a few tired legs at kick-off.
Sadly a serious injury – later confirmed as a double leg break – to a BMR player meant the game was abandoned after 40 minutes.
