RING the silver bells as a classic Christmas musical will kickstart a festive programme of film at Petersfield Festival Hall.

There’s no need to dream of a White Christmas as the timeless Bing Crosby film will be shown at the Heath Road venue at 2.30pm today (Monday, December 18).

Tonight’s showing will be all about Tom Cruise control with doors opening for the action-packed Top Gun: Maverick at 7pm for a 7.30pm start.

There’s a similar arrangement for Wednesday with a matinee showing of Polar Express being followed up with a screening of Barbie.
