A dog grooming firm from Petersfield had some barking soon results at a national competition in Warwickshire.

Bentley’s brushed off the competition to win a hat-trick of medals at the Great British Groom Off Competition.

The Station Road firm was pitted against groomers from across the country in five categories including Beginners, Coat Carving, Doubles, Workshop and Asian Fusion.

Customers and WAGs helped out by lending their mutts for the day with the canine companions getting a posh hotel sleepover and pampering.

Sue and Shelley took gold in the Beginners and Coat Carving sections, respectively, with Dorothy the Schnauzer and Coco the Shi’itzu taking first place. Gracie also claimed a silver medal as Eddie the Cockapool finished second in the Beginners category.

Sienna and Mollie with Ralph the Cockapoo, Jess with Norman the Bichon and Shelley (different category) with Coco the Toy Poodle also competed.
