Confirming finally that we found the correct house, Sam Osmond, architect Harold Falkner’s unofficial ‘biographer’, has been in touch to follow up Marion May’s original question about the location of three of the architect’s designs around Farnham.

Sam writes: “With reference to your recent Peeps item, I can confirm the Falkner House formerly named Cheniston is 2 Leigh Lane and is now known as Sands Lodge.”

Thanks, Sam. I wonder if there are any more of the architect’s works still waiting to be properly identified as belonging to his hand?
