Fernhurst Hub chair of trustees Antonia Plant has thanked volunteers for their “key part in this wonderful organisation”.

Speaking at the hub’s Christmas party, Ms Plant added: “The hub’s friendly atmosphere and huge local support starts with our team of volunteers – the past year has been our best yet.”

A group of budding musicians, under the supervision of teacher Sue Gibbon, recently enjoyed a ukulele taster event.

A sold-out Christmas wreath-making workshop was led by event florist Louise Avery.

The seasonal activities concluded with a mulled wine and mince pie morning. Hundreds of Christmas cards were sorted and spirited away by the 1st Fernhurst Scouts hand delivery service, and Fernhurst 2023 calendars were delivered to the post office.
