Alton Lions Club’s golf tournament at Test Valley Golf Club on August 9 raised £2,000 for Cardiac Rehab.

Alresford’s Odd Balls – captain Gordon Adams, Nick Callaway, Richard Lucas and Raymond Coleshill – won with 135 points, seven ahead of Andrew Denton’s Springers. They received the trophy and their winners’ shirts at Cardiac Rehab on October 12, when Lions president Moira Baker gave the cheque to the charity’s founder Dr Hugh Bethell.
