Police investigating the assault of a man in Four Marks have appealed for witnesses to come forward.
It was reported that the victim, an 18-year-old man, was approached by a man in Winchester Road at around 5.30pm on Monday.
An altercation then took place near the petrol station in Winchester Road. The victim sustained a small wound to his back. An investigation is under way to determine the circumstances of this incident.
Officers arrested a 24-year-old man from Four Marks on suspicion of causing grievous bodily harm with intent. He has been released from custody on police bail, with conditions, while police carry out further enquiries.
