SHOPPERS gave generously on Saturday as a Giant Christmas Market in The Petersfield School raised nearly £2,000.
The annual event featured more than 40 stalls with the Portsmouth Hospitals cancer fund, Petersfield Musical Festival and Parkinsons UK receiving a share of £1,000.
The Rosemary Foundation also raised £300 while there was plenty of love for Iva Repyntska, who dressed in traditional Ukrainian costume.
Her Montanka doll-making workshop aid of a charity which provides first-aid supplies to the Ukrainian front line raised more than £100.
Organiser Jeremy Holmes thanked participants for their help and Karen Bowes for running the raffle.
He also praised the ladies of Stroud Evening WI for their ‘can do’ attitude in providing lovely refreshments, Jez Shipton for live music and Tesco and Waitrose for donating raffle prizes.
