Several hundred people made their way to the top of Butser Hill, south of Petersfield in East Hampshire, for the lighting of a beacon, one of a series of many across both the UK and the world for the Queen's Platinum Jubilee.
Solent Community Choir sung several pieces at both the 'Roundhouse' and the top of Butser Hill as Cllr Rob Humby, the newly-elected leader of Hampshire County Council, spoke a few words and then lit the beacon.
- Many of these photos and more will feature in a 15-page Queen’s Jubilee special feature in next Thursday’s Post and Herald – if you have any photos to share of your Jubilee celebrations, please email us at [email protected] or [email protected]
