Volunteers at The Hunter Centre dressed up in their Sunday best to schmooze with royalty.
They were invited by one of the centre’s Patrons, HM Lord-Lieutenant of Surrey, Michael More-Molyneux to attend a garden party at Buckingham Palace to celebrate their services to volunteering.
The garden party celebrated 200 years of the Royal National Lifeboat Institution (RNLI), after his HM King Charles was made the new Patron.
Attendees from the centre included chairman of the board of trustees Anne Downing, who is also heavily involved with the local branch of the RNLI. Plus, Pauline Stevens and Jane May who have been supporting the staff at the day centre for many years.
HRH The Prince of Wales, HRH Princess Anne and HRH The Duke of Kent were some of the royals who attended the event.
