BARGAIN hunters in Haslemere helped raise hundreds for charities all while scoring some choice loot.
Helped on by some October sun, the Lion Green car boot sale was held for the mayor’s charities and saw £300 fundraised for Crossways Counselling and The Royal British Legion Hindhead.
Mayor Jerome Davidson was not one of the bargains up for grabs but he was on hand to help raise money for his charities (Haslemere Town Council)
A spokesperson for Haslemere Town Council said: “We hope you all enjoyed your morning with us. It was great to see so many of you browsing the stalls and enjoying the sunshine! Also a big thank you to the volunteers for giving up their time on a Sunday morning.”
