Haslemere’s Mayor has raised the flag to celebrate Commonwealth Day.

Cllr Jerome Davidson said: "Each year Commonwealth Day is celebrated to recognise the 56 member states which includes some of the largest and smallest in the world. This year’s theme underscores the Commonwealth’s collective strengths that enable member states to confront and overcome the challenges that confront them, paving the way for a future where wealth is not just widespread but genuinely equitable."
