The walls of Haslemere Museum have been taken over by Haslemere Art Society for its annual art exhibition. 

With more than 100 paintings and 22 ceramics/sculptures, an outstanding collection is on display. All the artists displayed are members of the society, and are local to Haslemere and the surrounding area. 

If one of the pieces takes your fancy, you’re in luck – every piece, from sculptures to paintings, is for sale.

David Paynter, one of the artists whose work is on display. said the exhibition gives people a chance to display their work, often for the first time.

Roger Dellar, president of the art society, said how pleased he was that it was such a varied show this year.

The exhibition is open until Saturday and entry is free.
