You can’t buy me love – but if you’re the former MP for Farnham then you can get free tickets to see a Beatle in concert.

Jeremy Hunt MP has revealed that he was gifted two tickets worth £437 each in January to see Sir Paul McCartney perform.

The MP for Godalming & Ash declared the donation from Roland Rudd through the Register of Members' Financial Interests which is updated every fortnight.

The Conservative also received £12,000 for a 2.15 hour speech to Pictel Financial Services and a further £10,800 for a one-hour speech to Institutional Investor LLC.

But LBC were less generous, as they gave Mr Hunt £1,000 for being the guest presenter on a three-hour radio show in January.
