The gym at Farnham Leisure Centre closed on Monday for a two-week refurbishment.

A new state-of-the-art gym will open on December 1, featuring new equipment, a fresh and updated layout, a well as "a new look and feel" says leisure operator Everyone Active.

Pool and group exercise classes will not be affected during the closure, and additional fitness classes will be added to the centre schedule.

It comes as part of a £1 million investment by Everyone Active in three Waverley leisure centres, including Haslemere and Cranleigh.
