New food hygiene ratings have been awarded to two of East Hampshire’s restaurants, cafes or canteens, the Food Standards Agency’s website shows – and it’s good news for them both.

Winton's Community Cafe, at Winton House Centre 18 High Street Petersfield Gu32 3jl was handed a five-out-of-five rating after assessment on May 13.

And Queen Elizabeth Country Park, at Queen Elizabeth Country Park Gravel Hill Clanfield Waterlooville Po8 0qe was also given a score of five on May 8.

It means that of East Hampshire's 151 restaurants, cafes and canteens with ratings, 122 (81%) have ratings of five and none have zero ratings.
