Camelsdale Primary School has been awarded a school’s Music Mark in recognition of its commitment to the arts and music.
The school has expanded its curriculum offer and provides a wide range of instrumental teaching. This includes guitar, ukulele, flute, recorder, violin and piano lessons.
Headteacher Sarah Palmer and music subject leader Rebecca Juniper said: “It is wonderful that the school has been recognised for its music teaching. There are lots of opportunities to play, sing and perform and the school’s love of all things musical is good to recognise and celebrate.
“We continue our quest to expand our offer to spark an interest in the children and would welcome any offers of singing teaching and brass tuition.”
