East Hampshire's motorists will have seven road closures to avoid nearby on the National Highways network this week.

But the news isn't too bad, with all of them only expected to cause slight delays, of less than 10 minutes.

The latest expected works list, with notes from National Highways, shows that one closure already in place is expected to carry on this week:

A3, from 9pm June 7 to 6am September 28, slight delays (under 10 minutes): A3 both directions Hindhead Tunnel, Contraflow for electrical work.

And a further six closures will begin over the next two weeks:

A3, from 9.30pm July 8 to 6am July 9, slight delays (under 10 minutes): A3 southbound, Berelands to QE Park, slip road and lane closures for maintenance works.

A3, from 9.30pm July 9 to 6am July 11, slight delays (under 10 minutes): A3 southbound, Queen Elizabeth Park to Horndean, slip road and lane closures for maintenance work.

A3, from 8.30pm July 11 to 6am July 12, slight delays (under 10 minutes): A3 southbound, Weston, slip road and lane closures for maintenance work.

A3, from 8.30pm July 12 to 6am July 13, slight delays (under 10 minutes): A3 southbound, Chalton to Horndean, slip road and lane closures for maintenance work.

A3, from 8pm July 15 to 6am July 19, slight delays (under 10 minutes): A3 northbound and southbound, Hindhead Tunnel, Contraflow for tunnel maintenance, diversion via Highways England network.

A3, from 9.30pm July 22 to 6am July 23, slight delays (under 10 minutes): A3M northbound, junction 2, slip road and lane closure's for maintenance works.

National Highways is responsible for maintaining motorways and major A-roads, so closures of smaller roads will not be included in their schedule.
