East Hampshire's motorists will have four road closures to avoid nearby on the National Highways network this week.

And one of them is expected to cause delays of between 10 minutes and half an hour.

The latest expected works list, with notes from National Highways, shows that two closures already in place are expected to carry on this week:

• A3, from 8pm September 12 to 6am November 15, slight delays (under 10 minutes): A3 northbound, Horndean to Weston, slip road and lane closures for drainage work, diversions via National Highways network.

• A3, from 8pm September 20 to 6am November 16, slight delays (under 10 minutes): A3 southbound, Queen Elizabeth Park to Horndean, slip road and lane closures for drainage work, diversions via National Highways network.

And a further two closures will begin over the next seven days:

• A3, from 8pm November 1 to 6am November 11, moderate delays (10-30 minutes): A3 northbound and southbound, Longmoor to Hogsback, carriageway closures for Hindhead Tunnel works, diversions via National Highways and local authority network.

• A3, from 8pm November 14 to 6am November 18, slight delays (under 10 minutes): A3 northbound and southbound, Hindhead Tunnel, Contraflow for tunnel maintenance, diversion via Highways England network.

National Highways is responsible for maintaining motorways and major A-roads, so closures of smaller roads will not be included in their schedule.
