A dedicated volunteer at Haslemere Museum since 1998, June has led numerous natural history sessions, including a recent tour of the museum gardens exploring moss species. The seashell talk sets sail at 2.30 pm on Tuesday, July 23. Tickets are just £3.
In addition, young excavators aged 5-11 can join a rock-solid fossil-making event on July 30 from 10.30am to midday at the museum. Unearth the secrets of fossil formation, handle real fossils, and create your own to take home. Tickets for member £5, non-members £7 and accompanying adults £2 – adults do not need to stay.
