As September rolls around again, one summer attraction closes for another year.
Cowdray’s Maize Maze was visited by more than 10,000 people this August. Visitors enjoyed everything the maze offered, from stamp trails, a giant sunflower and wildflower picking patch, as well as plenty of entertainment for children.
“This year’s Maize Maze has been a resounding success,” said Nick McDonald, the Estate’s Land and Environment Manager. “We were delighted to welcome people from far and wide who explored the maize and enjoyed everything that Cowdray and Midhurst offers.”
“It was also great to host a variety of events including Summertime Serenade, Sunset Sunflower Yoga, and a steam engine harvesting a small patch of wheat. The Bank Holiday was particularly busy with outdoor cinema nights, Big Kit Sunday, and Run the Maze on Bank Holiday Monday.”
The second series of Run the Seasons races begins this year and continues across the Cowdray Estate. To find out more, visit www.cowdray.co.uk/events/category/sport/
