NHS directors came under fire at a Community Forum with claims that following the closure of the beds ward last year the new model of care at Bordon's Chase Community Hospital "isn't working".

Healthcare professionals fielded questions from councillors and the public at the Whitehill and Bordon Community Forum, at Lindford Village Hall, last month.

On the panel was GP Dr Anthony Leung, from the Badgerswood and Forest surgeries, who said the picture on the ground "wasn't rosy" – highlighting examples of the NHS' new local model, which had been heralded an improvement, failing.
