UPDATE: Since posting the below, the Herald has been informed this weekend's event has been cancelled.

TWITCHY Witch will bring spooky storytelling and crafts to Farnham Castle this Hallowe’en.
The castle guides’ latest free event for children will take place in the keep at 2pm on Sunday, October 31, lasting for about an hour.
There will also be a dance to Dukas’ Sorcerer’s Apprentice, and fancy dress is optional. A chocolate treat will be given at the end.
Also making an appearance will be Sir Spectre Spook – and perhaps even the ghost of Bishop Morley, who was said to sleep in a coffin under a staircase in the Bishop’s Palace, will join in the fun!
It is the second in a new monthly series of free family events at Farnham Castle, coming after September’s open day.
Farnham Castle’s events and tours programme is run by the Farnham Castle Trust’s volunteer guides. For volunteering opportunities, see www.farnham-castle.com
