Lizzie Soal, a Year 2 teacher at St Matthew’s CE Primary School in Blackmoor, invited her class back from their half-term holiday for her spooky-themed wedding day.

Rev Alice Wood returned to take the service at St Matthew’s Church, and staff and family filled the aisles.

The children dressed as bats and designed outfits for the wedding party, and afterwards waved Miss Soal – now Mrs Ransom – off from school.

There was even a tortoise wearing a pumpkin hat!
