Opening up on-site facilities at Bells Piece for a fete in August – after an enforced closure during the pandemic – proved so successful that the Farnham Leonard Cheshire home is confidently preparing to welcome old friends and new for a Christmas fayre on Saturday, December 9.
Staff, residents and the support group are anticipating an even greater success, and with good reason, since the August fete attracted so much interest despite a gloomy weather forecast, and made a lot of money for the residents’ comfort.
Everyone is enthusiastically working on an exciting number of attractions at the home, which is adjacent to The Six Bells pub in Hale Road.
Running from midday to 4pm, there will be heaps of gifts ideas, art and craft to quilling designs and Body Shop, floristry etcetera, and of course seasonal music plus hot drinks and mince pies!
