Echo's Bones, an exhibition by Theo Papadreopoulos, is being held in the Lion and Lamb art space in Farnham on March 4 from 2pm to 5pm and March 5 from 11am to 4pm.

It will explore memory, gender, identity and stereotypes through questioning the depiction of the 'macho male' using military symbols and objects.

The exhibition has been curated in collaboration with Fiona Goldswain, Grace Burns, Lily Burcham, Rhianna Currie and Lyn Richards, who are all Year 2 fine art students at the University for the Creative Arts in Farnham.

Theo Papadreopoulos is a visual artist born in Greece and based in London whose works explore a range of media including sculpture, photography and publications.

From early in his career his work has explored the human body, in particular looking at gender, masculinity and sexuality through contemporary representations of the body and applying this research into conceptualising how society ‘genderises’ particular objects, and then re-working them to further expose and challenge this.
