Alton Morris has donated £109 to Home-Start Weywater to help the charity with its work supporting parents finding it difficult to cope.

It was raised at the Blackmoor Apple Fair when Alton Morris passed a hat round a large and appreciative audience watching its dancing.

Home-Start is close to the heart of long-time Alton Morris member Ann Foulkes, formerly headmistress of Alton Infant School.

At a recent dance out the side took the opportunity to present Mrs Foulkes and Jackie Slack from the Home-Start community action team with the cheque.
