HARDY tennis players at David Lloyd in Farnham needed their Christmas jumpers as they braved chilly weather to play three hours of non-stop tennis in aid of local charity Help4Harry.

The festive tennis marathon and a raffle raised £800 for the charity founded by the family of Badshot Lea schoolboy Harry Barnley to help fund in-depth research into Duchenne muscular dystrophy.

The first prize of the raffle, a £400 Polat Sport Organisation voucher towards a tennis holiday in Turkey, was won by Monica - with many more prizes generously donated by businesses in the Farnham and Fleet area.
